Video Trends in 2024

The year 2024 brings unprecedented changes to the video industry, shaping both the way we create and consume visual content. In this comprehensive post, we’ll explore the latest trends in video production, discuss the impact of social media on content distribution, and consider the issue of pricing these innovative experiences.

1. Interactivity and Content Personalisation 2024 marks the era of interactive video content. Viewers want not only to watch, but also to influence the plot and the course of the story. Solutions such as narrative branching are becoming the norm, not only in entertainment, but also in education and marketing. Content personalisation, where AI tailors videos to users’ preferences, opens up new possibilities for creators and marketers.

2. Virtual Reality (VR) and Augmented Reality (AR) have now become an integral part of the video industry. They enable the creation of deeply immersive experiences, ranging from virtual guided tours and concerts to educational programmes. This technology is transforming the way we experience history and information.

3. Ultra-high resolution: 8K and beyond. 8K technology has become the standard, delivering incredible picture quality. This ultra-high resolution is particularly important in home and public cinemas, as well as in the advertising industry, where image quality is crucial.

4. Artificial Intelligence in Video Production AI is revolutionising the video industry, from automating editing to generating advanced special effects. This enables faster and more efficient production, reducing costs and opening up new creative possibilities.

5. Sustainable Video Production In the face of climate challenges, the video industry is adopting an environmentally friendly approach. The use of green technologies and the reduction of the carbon footprint during production are not only a matter of social responsibility, but also, increasingly, a market requirement.

6. Social Media as Distribution Platforms Social media has become a key channel for distributing video content. Platforms such as TikTok, YouTube and Instagram offer not only wide reach but also specialised tools for creating and promoting content. The algorithms of these platforms skilfully match content to users’ interests, thereby increasing its reach and effectiveness.

7. Pricing Modern Video Productions Determining the price of a video production in 2024 is a complex matter. The cost depends on many factors, such as the technology used, the complexity of the production, and the scope of distribution. For example, producing a standard 8K film will be more expensive than producing one in 4K, just as the use of VR and AR significantly increases costs. However, on the other hand, automation

The year 2024 undoubtedly marks a new era in the video industry, characterised by dynamic growth and adaptation to rapidly changing technologies and audience preferences. Key trends, such as the development of interactive content, the use of VR and AR technologies, the introduction of ultra8K ultra-high-definition standards, the use of artificial intelligence in production, and a sustainable approach to filmmaking are shaping the future of visual storytelling.

Social media plays a key role in the distribution and promotion of video content, enabling creators to reach a wide and engaged audience. However, the issue of video production pricing in 2024 remains complex and depends on a number of factors, including the technologies used, the scope of the project and production costs.

In the face of these changes, the video industry is facing unique opportunities and challenges that require creativity, innovation and the ability to adapt to a constantly evolving digital market. For consumers, this is a time of exciting and varied visual experiences, offering more engaging and personalised content than ever before.

This is an exciting time for both creators and consumers of video content. We are witnessing the boundaries between reality and fiction becoming increasingly blurred, whilst visual storytelling is becoming ever more immersive and interactive. The future of the video industry looks extremely promising, and we can only look forward to what the coming year will bring in this rapidly evolving field.

Video Production Tenders – Are They Really Worth Our Time and Effort?

In the business world, tenders are often regarded as a tried-and-tested method of selecting suppliers and partners. Despite their popularity, it is worth considering whether they are an effective method in the context of video production. Let’s take a critical look at this process to understand its drawbacks and limitations.

First and foremost, anyone who has ever dealt with tenders knows just how time-consuming they are. Collecting bids, analysing proposals and then making a decision – each of these stages requires a significant commitment of resources that could be put to more productive use.

It is often the case that tenders for video production focus on price rather than quality and creativity. This leads to a situation where the company offering the lowest price wins the contract, rather than the one with the best expertise and experience. Yet it is precisely creativity and technical skills that are key to the success of any video project.

Another issue is the lack of flexibility and customisation. Tenders are rigid and set out in advance exactly what is expected of the supplier. In practice, every video project is different and requires a bespoke approach that takes into account the specific needs of the client, the target audience and the product itself.

Finally, tenders can stifle innovation. By focusing on meeting formal requirements, suppliers may neglect the elements that make a video unique and memorable. The result may be a production that merely ticks the boxes but fails to add value to the brand.

To sum up, although tenders are widely used, they do have their limitations, particularly in the context of video production. It is therefore worth considering alternative methods of selecting partners, such as direct collaboration, which offers greater flexibility, personalisation and the opportunity to realise the full creative potential. A well-considered decision on this matter can be crucial to achieving marketing success and strengthening the brand’s market position.
If a tender process is necessary – either because the commissioning company has such procedures in place (which makes little sense in the creative industry) or because the funds are public – it is worth first ensuring that a script is prepared to be sent out alongside the request for proposals. The cost of preparing a script is usually 1,200 PLN net, so this is a sufficiently low amount that it should not be subject to the tendering process or a competition for bids. If you wish to put the production of a video out to tender without a script, you can be sure of one thing – you’ll receive a large number of quotes with widely varying prices, often at extremes, and you won’t know on what basis to select a supplier. The script serves as a roadmap for the film crew and clearly sets out what will happen in the film; therefore, if you wish to conduct a professional tender for a video production for your company, first commission the preparation of a script – ensuring the production cost does not exceed your budget (set your budget in advance) and then send this script to production companies. We guarantee you won’t be inundated with emails and phone calls from bidders asking the same questions over and over again!

Your film agency

Today, we’ll give you an insight into the world of a film agency that specialises in producing advertising films. Have you ever wondered how your favourite TV advert is made? Who are the people who turn creative ideas into captivating short films that grab your attention? Well, we’re here to lift the veil of secrecy!

A film production company is a team of professionals – directors, screenwriters, cinematographers, production designers, editors, special effects artists and many other specialists – who work together to create films. These agencies operate in various fields, including feature films, documentaries, animated films and the production of advertising films.

A film agency specialising in the production of advertising films focuses on creating high-quality, effective promotional videos for various companies and brands. It operates at the intersection of film and marketing, where storytelling meets persuasion, and art meets business.

When a brand decides to produce a TV advert, the film agency works with it from start to finish. The process begins with understanding the client’s needs and defining the campaign’s objectives. Next, the film agency’s creative team begins brainstorming and developing concepts for the advert.

Once the concept has been approved, we move on to the pre-production stage, where the team works on technical details such as the script, cast, locations, costumes and props. Next, during the production stage, the film is actually shot. Finally, during the post-production stage, the film is edited, and special effects, sound, music and everything else needed to ensure the film looks and sounds exactly as planned are added.

In today’s competitive market, corporate videos – such as sponsored billboards – must not only be visually appealing but also effective in terms of communication. That is why film agencies specialising in the production of advertising films are always looking for new, innovative ways to capture viewers’ attention and convey the right message to them.

These professional, creative teams are behind some of the most memorable and effective adverts you have ever seen. Next time you see an advert that moves you, inspires you or even makes you laugh, remember the immense amount of work and creativity that an agency like this has put into creating it.

There are certainly many benefits to a company using the services of a professional video production agency. Although digital technology means that more and more companies are choosing to produce their own videos, hiring specialists can bring invaluable benefits. Here are a few of them:

  1. Professionalism and experience: Film agencies employ teams of qualified specialists in various fields, such as directing, screenwriting, editing, special effects and others. These individuals will bring a level of professionalism and experience to your project that is not readily available to most companies.

  2. High production quality: By using a film production agency, you have access to the latest technology and equipment, which translates into productions of the highest quality. These agencies invest in state-of-the-art equipment to provide their clients with the highest quality picture and sound.

  3. Stunning creativity: Film agencies thrive on creativity. They have a track record of transforming raw ideas into effective, captivating films. They bring unique ideas and an innovative approach to every project.

  4. Effective communication: Film agencies are experts at creating stories that move and engage audiences. They have the ability to transform raw data and information into compelling, emotional films that effectively convey your brand’s message.

  5. Time-saving: Creating a film is a time-consuming process. Hiring a film production agency allows a company to focus on its core business, whilst the agency takes care of all aspects of the film’s production.

  6. Cost savings: Although the initial costs associated with hiring a film production company may seem high, they often turn out to be less expensive in the long run. Film production is a complex process that requires a wide range of skills, and the costs associated with hiring various specialists, purchasing equipment and software, and learning how to use these resources effectively can quickly add up.

To sum up, using the services of a professional film agency can bring many benefits to a company. It provides professionalism, creativity, production quality and efficiency, which are difficult to achieve in-house. Admittedly, you can optimise costs and hire full-time staff instead of using an external agency, but creativity has never been – and never will be – a full-time role. Creativity cannot be taught; you simply have to have it within you, just like business empathy.
See you on set!

The Rise of AI in Video Post-Production: A Pioneering Step in Poland and Europe

It is an honour to announce that we are leading the way in technological innovation within the multimedia sector. We are the first in Poland and Europe to have implemented AI into the post-production process for professional corporate videos. This is a significant achievement which undoubtedly marks the beginning of a new era in video production.

To begin with, it is worth noting that post-production is a crucial stage in film production. It is here that the final product is created – its quality, style and atmosphere are shaped. Thanks to the use of artificial intelligence, this process is not only more efficient but also offers creative possibilities never seen before.

Our work with AI is based on machine learning, a powerful tool that enables machines to learn how to understand and manipulate images and sounds in a film. The results are getting better every day, all thanks to the continuous learning of algorithms that analyse hundreds of thousands of minutes of footage, learning what makes the visuals, sound and even special effects look most effective.

However, the implementation of AI in the post-production of corporate films is not merely a technical matter. It is also an investment in the future. Artificial intelligence is not just a trend; it is the future. By utilising it, we can not only increase the efficiency of the post-production process, but also create new, innovative solutions that will transform the way we create and experience films.

Recognising the power of this industry, we want to share our experience and knowledge. That is why we invite you to see how we did it yesterday, join us today, and together create something truly epic in the new world of digital marketing tomorrow.

We don’t just create films; we shape the future, influencing the nature of modern business communication. In the age of digitalisation and the growing importance of digital media, AI enables us to create tools that better meet the needs of businesses and consumers. Thanks to AI, corporate videos are becoming not only more engaging, but also more effective.

We must not forget that this technology is still in its early stages of development.
Like many other innovations, AI is currently in the process of realising its full potential, particularly in the field of film post-production. That is why we are excited about the opportunity to conduct research and work on developing new methods and tools that will enable us to revolutionise the entire post-production process.

We are convinced that AI-powered video post-production is a path worth pursuing. We are proud to have been at the forefront of this innovation in Poland and Europe, but our journey is only just beginning. We look forward to further honing our skills, exploring this revolutionary technology and sharing our discoveries with the rest of the world.

Together with you, we want to continue this journey, exploring the endless possibilities of AI in film post-production. We invite you to help shape this future with us. Join us today, and together we’ll create an epic impact in the new world of digital marketing!

This is not just a technological breakthrough, but a social one too. We believe that through collaboration and an openness to innovation, we can help reshape the landscape of digital communication and marketing. Right now, we are at the forefront of this revolution. And tomorrow? Well, we can’t wait to see what the future holds.

AI: A Revolution in the Film Industry

As technology advances, artificial intelligence (AI) is playing an increasingly significant role across various sectors. In the film industry, AI is transforming the way films are created, produced, distributed and consumed. In this article, we outline the key factors driving these changes in the film industry and analyse the potential implications of introducing AI into this sector.

Artificial intelligence has become an indispensable part of modern life. It influences almost every field, from medicine to self-driving cars. The film industry, too, is taking note of the development of this modern technology. Artificial intelligence is becoming increasingly important in the creation, production, distribution and reception of films, bringing about a number of significant changes to the industry.

Film creation and production

Artificial intelligence is already being used in the film-making process. AI systems are used to generate screenplays, analyse film concepts and predict commercial success. One example of this is the screenplay for the film ‘Sunspring’, which was created by an AI-based algorithm.

Data distribution and analysis

In film production, AI can be used to create realistic animations and special effects. Techniques such as deep learning and generative adversarial networks (GANs) make it possible to achieve effects that would be impossible using traditional methods. Furthermore, AI can streamline post-production work by automating colour grading and sound editing.

Data distribution and analysis

Thanks to AI, film distribution platforms are able to analyse data on user behaviour, which enables them to tailor content more effectively to viewers’ preferences. This, in turn, increases viewer satisfaction, whilst allowing the platforms to focus on promoting relevant films.

Data analysis is also used to generate film recommendations for users. By utilising AI, streaming services such as Netflix and Hulu can provide increasingly better suggestions, tailored to each user’s tastes.

Audience reception of films

AI also influences the way viewers perceive films. Technologies such as emotion recognition and facial expression analysis can be used to gain a better understanding of viewers’ reactions to specific scenes. The information obtained in this way can then be used by filmmakers to improve scripts, editing or the selection of music.

Ethical and social implications

As AI advances in the film industry, questions are also arising about its ethical and social implications. Many people fear that the automation of work could lead to humans being replaced by machines, particularly in roles related to film post-production or distribution. At the same time, there is the issue of intellectual property and responsibility for AI-generated content.

The Future of AI in the Film Industry

AI in the film industry is still evolving and has the potential to introduce even more advanced solutions. We can expect AI to become increasingly involved in the film-making process, from the initial concept right through to the final visual and audio effects. In the future, we may also see an increase in the number of productions created exclusively by AI, which could open up new opportunities for the industry and change the way we perceive the art of film.

Artificial intelligence is bringing about a number of significant changes in the film industry, affecting the creation, production, distribution and reception of films. This revolution is opening up new horizons for filmmakers and audiences alike, but at the same time presents them with challenges relating to ethics, responsibility and changes in the labour market. One thing is certain: AI will increasingly shape the future of the film industry, reshaping it entirely.

Gain an edge over the competition with VIDEOSPACE’s annual packages

Choose video marketing with VIDEOSPACE. We offer annual packages to help your brand succeed. Why should you choose video marketing? Take a look at what we have to offer.

Today’s consumer of marketing content is a hard-working and busy person who is looking for effective and quick ways to find out about products or services. The amount of content available online is vast, which is why more and more people are choosing video content over text. This allows them to familiarise themselves with key information quickly, in a more accessible and understandable way. For this reason, brands – regardless of their sector – have a unique opportunity to reach their customers in a more effective and concise manner.

Why should you invest in video marketing?

Video marketing is one of the most effective ways to promote products and services today. Why should you give it a go? Here are a few reasons.

Firstly, video is, above all, a format that is highly appealing to audiences. According to research, video content generates 1,200 per cent more engagement than text posts and photos. Video stands out from the crowd and enables you to reach a larger number of potential customers.

Secondly, video captures attention and evokes emotions. As a result, viewers are more likely to remember the message than with other forms of advertising. Customers who watch an interesting and engaging video will be far more likely to make a purchase decision.

Thirdly, video marketing is a highly versatile form of marketing. It can be used for a wide range of purposes – to showcase products, demonstrate how services work, create educational content or offer a behind-the-scenes look at a company. As a result, video marketing can be tailored to meet the diverse needs and expectations of customers.

Fourthly, video marketing is a highly flexible method. It can be used across various channels and formats – on a website, on social media or in television adverts. As a result, video marketing can be tailored to a company’s individual needs and budget.

Why is video marketing worth it?

First and foremost, videos generate more clicks and views, which directly translates into increased traffic to a website or online shop. The more people who are interested in a particular offer, the greater the chance of boosting sales.

Video marketing offers the possibility of precise targeting, i.e. directing content to specific audiences. As a result, the advert reaches only those people interested in the subject matter or products in question, which increases the effectiveness of the campaign.

Video marketing can be used across a range of channels and formats, making it adaptable to different budgets and business needs. It can be utilised in online advertising, on social media and on websites.

Thanks to precise targeting and a variety of channels, video marketing can be tailored to a company’s individual needs and budget, which translates into campaign effectiveness and increased sales.

Annual packages

At VIDEOSPACE, we aim to support businesses in their long-term video marketing efforts by providing a comprehensive range of video production services.

What are the benefits of purchasing an annual package from VIDEOSPACE?

Using VIDEOSPACE’s annual packages offers many benefits for businesses. Here are the most important ones:

  1. A dedicated video project manager – this ensures that the company can be confident that video production is in the hands of professionals who will devote themselves fully to the project.
  2. Reducing video production costs – by taking advantage of annual packages, a company can save over 30 per cent on its video production costs. This makes the annual package an attractive option for companies wishing to boost the effectiveness of their campaigns whilst keeping costs reasonable.
  3. Time savings – by ordering an annual package, a company receives a comprehensive service, which saves it a great deal of time and boosts its productivity. Rather than having to organise video production, the company can focus on other aspects of its business.
  4. Long-term video content – opting for annual packages enables you to develop a long-term marketing strategy based on video content. This allows a company to build its brand and increase its recognition amongst customers.

In summary, using VIDEOSPACE’s annual packages is an excellent investment for businesses looking to boost the effectiveness of their campaigns, whilst reducing costs and saving time. A long-term strategy based on video content will help to boost interest in your products or services.

Video sustain: how we produce construction site videos (time-lapse) in the midst of an energy crisis

We have been operating in the Polish film production market since 2014. We started out modestly, but from the very beginning we have grown at the speed of a rocket. Today, with a broad understanding of both the video marketing landscape in Poland and the evolving needs and requirements of businesses in this field, we have become specialists in delivering the highest quality video content for small, medium and large international companies. We are constantly creating images in our imagination, but we are not detached from reality. On the contrary, we closely monitor and analyse the changing global trends, conditions and crises… For one simple reason – we want to offer our clients bespoke videos that meet market needs, and we ourselves want to be prepared for any potential changes and upheavals. What we have noticed recently is a very strong shift towards implementing solutions in the field of CSR and sustainable development. This is an initiative that we particularly support. That is why, as one of the very few (and perhaps the only ones in Poland), we have developed a self-sufficient video recording system and offer our clients the opportunity to combine film production with renewable energy sources. Yes, we know a thing or two about that too!

Solar- and wind-powered cameras

What’s this all about? In short, we are able, in a single day, to install an autonomous photovoltaic system at a designated location, mounted on a suitably tall pole and equipped with top-of-the-range video equipment – powered by the system itself, weatherproof and capable of recording footage in 4K resolution. This is a solution we have introduced for companies undertaking all kinds of construction projects, or those requiring continuous video recording over an extended period. It is completely self-sufficient, reliable and not even affected by power cuts.

Why this particular solution? Let’s take an example. We are tasked with producing a film about the construction of a logistics centre, which will take several or over a dozen months to build. Filming over such a long period using conventional methods reliant on mains power could end in failure, even in the event of the slightest power cuts. Such interruptions could, on the one hand, disrupt the continuity of the footage being recorded, and on the other, quickly lead to damage to the filming equipment, which would then be unable to record anything further. And then we’ll have neither the film nor the budget for new equipment, nor a new contractor. In other words, a black hole.

A film crew working with an electrical and building services company

We operate on the principle that if a client decides to work with us, we will always rise to the challenge, regardless of the project entrusted to us; and, thanks to our many years of experience, this also means that we do not allow mistakes to occur. We used to make plenty of them, and they still happen from time to time, but we have learnt to anticipate and safeguard against most unusual circumstances and unforeseen incidents. When, a few years ago, we expanded our activities to include time-lapse filming of long-term construction projects, we brought in construction specialists and electricians to work with us right from the start. This is how a one-of-a-kind team was formed, comprising: a camera operator with a licence for high-altitude drone flights, a CCTV installer and technician, a qualified electrician, an excavator operator, a builder with 30 years’ experience, and a logistics specialist who is a regular at Poland’s largest construction projects. All are equipped with the appropriate gear, clothing and documentation authorising them to enter and carry out work on any construction site.

We can guarantee you the best solution for creating a film documenting the construction of your project, all in the spirit of sustainable development. To find out more, please give us a call – but first, have a look at this short video showcasing our special operations team at the construction site in Sulechów.

When a paper manual isn’t enough

A few days ago, we finished filming a series of instructional videos for one of our regular clients in the installation sector. We really enjoy productions like this, where the strength lies in their simplicity and the message is clear and easy to take in. For businesses, this is also an attractive format, not least for budgetary reasons – instructional videos are one of the most cost-effective options when it comes to corporate video production. This is one of the reasons why we’ve decided to tell you a bit more about them, to encourage you to produce them and use them to enhance your own offering.

Everyone can see it, but not everyone understands it

Have you ever read the instructions for a piece of equipment and understood (almost) nothing? Exactly… We have a theory that some manufacturers deliberately make the instructions so confusing so that repair technicians have their work cut out for them ;). Even if we read the manual thoroughly and fully understand it, it can still happen that some steps have been omitted, or that something is explained but there’s no illustration to go with it, making it easy to get confused because the description is too brief.

Of course, simple instructions are enough to explain how to switch on an iron or start a washing machine, however, problems can arise when we move into slightly more specialised areas, where the operator of a cutting machine or forklift truck must strictly follow certain guidelines to prevent accidents. And here, a paper manual may not be enough: a) because it is impossible to demonstrate how the machine operates in action, b) because the employee may not understand the content of the manual.

In this respect, video beats the written word hands down. If we ask an employee whether they have understood the instructions they have read, they may give an evasive answer. However, if we ask them whether they saw the actor in the video pressing the power button, and they reply ‘no’ or ‘I don’t know’, it’s clear that our employee has a problem – either with their eyesight or their wits. And if they answer in the affirmative, we can rest assured that we have trained our staff properly, because even if they haven’t understood something, the video clearly shows them what to do and how to do it.

Showcase your features and boost sales

Instructional videos are also a great way to boost sales of the products on offer. Before we decide to buy a product, we want to know its pros and cons – and, ideally, see exactly how it works. Whether we’re saving up for a coffee machine, a pram, a gas cooker or a washer-dryer, there’s a whole host of appliances that catch our eye whilst we’re out on casual trips to shopping centres or browsing online shops.

We find loud advertising slogans and far-fetched promotions irritating, yet we’ll watch with interest a video that demonstrates the features or how to use, say, an electric scooter. Watching such a video will probably take us no more than 2 minutes, and it will provide answers to most of the questions we have. This will subconsciously bring us closer to buying the product on show, because once we’ve seen how it works, it’s almost as if we’ve already used it – in other words, almost as if it were already ours ;). If the competition doesn’t have such a video, it automatically loses credibility and leaves the consumer with a simple choice. They buy the product they’ve just learnt about in a short, unobtrusive instructional video.

If your range includes devices and products that are worth – or even essential – to familiarise yourself with before use, we encourage you to include the production of instructional videos in your budget for promotion or sales support. Get in touch with us, and we’ll create an instructional video for you that will enable you to reach hundreds of thousands of viewers, strengthen your company’s image and significantly boost profits from the sale of your products.
